Sven Scheuer
Palace have signed two goalkeepers ahead of Sunday's match against Gillingham.
Nic Michopoulos has joined on a month's loan from Burnley and German Sven Scheuer on a short-term contract.
Michopoulos, 32, played against Palace in August but since then has been overtaken by Marlon Beresford as the Clarets' number one.
Scheuer was Oliver Kahn's understudy at Bayern Munich from 1994 to 2000.
One of these keepers will start against Gillingham on Sunday, after Palace learnt that Alex Kolinko will be out for a couple of weeks due to a groin injury suffered against Sheffield Wednesday.
Francis' prefered keeper, Matt Clarke has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
