Aki Riihilahti had a terrible time in Helsinki as 35,833 people saw Finland go down 2-0 to Wales. Celtic's John Hartson opened the scoring on 31 minutes and Tottenham's Simon Davies sealed the victory on 73 minutes.
The game included six bookings, Riihilahti was one of the Finns who picked up a yellow card.
Meanwhile, Alex Kolinko and Andrejs Rubins played in Lativa's 0-0 draw with Sweden in Skonta Riga.
