Simon Jordan

Simon Jordan has dismissed reports of any more signings before the transfer deadline.

Press rumours a few weeks ago linked Hayden Mullins with a move to Birmingham City, and Martin Grainger to move in the opposite direction. But Jordan is now satisfied with the new signings that he and Trevor Francis have made.

He told the South London Press: "Very simply, I am not spending any more money on players.

"We have the squad we need and I believe that we have the squad the manager needs to make a push for promotion.

"Sadly, on the evidence of what I have seen so far there is a long way to go."
