David Hopkin

David Hopkin has joined Dunfermline on a week's trial following his release from Palace last week.

The 30-year-old midfielder is hoping to complete a free transfer to the Pars after a very disappointing second spell at Palace.

He only made 13 appearances last season and was a shadow of his former self.

Hopkin said: "It's disappointing, but I have to look towards the future now.

"Things haven't really worked out as I would have liked since I returned to Palace, so maybe it's best that I move on and try and make a go of it somewhere else."
