Portsmouth midfielder Shaun Derry is expected to sign for Palace tomorrow.

Derry agreed personal terms with the club yesterday and Palace officials were putting him through a medical today.

Derry should join in time to make his debut in tomorrow night's pre-season friendly against Tottenham.

Trevor Francis said: "Derry is here having a thorough medical but he has agreed personal terms. The process of improving the squad is starting to accelerate."
