Reports today that Brentford are willing to sell Toney. £60m price tag which seems a bit steep but he would score tons of goals for us and might be just what we need if we could get him for £50m. How long of the ban is left? Everyone needs another chance.
The beatings will stop when morale improves. |

No sure i agree with you he'd score tons of goals for us, our system doesn't allow that. IMO, Toney needs a strike partner like he's got at Brentford. Nice to dream, But . . . PS, can he defend?

We'd never spend £50m, let alone £60m. Toney is clearly decent and would consider Palace a sideways move. A big club will come in for him. No chance.

I can see someone coming in for Guehi in January for £50m so we could use that money to buy a much needed quality, proven striker like him. I certainly think Parish and Freedman should seriously discuss and maybe sound him out. Edited by NE14T (24 Sep 2023 6.55pm)
