Anyone know why Tomkins was not on the bench yesterday? I know Ward had a knock, but no mention of Tomkins.

Which is a pity because I think he's a quality player. It's said that he can't play it out from the back like Andersen and Guehi so Vieira maybe doesn't rate him. I was relieved he didn't leave in the January window.

Will be 33 next month and is on decent money. Defensively he is good, but he is not comfortable playing out from the back Both he and Kelly are out of contract this summer. Surely one, if not both will be released. If Kouyate re-signs maybe time to let them both go.
