Palace U23s were on the back foot in the first half and conceded a soft goal with the last kick. In the second half we looked better but didn't really look like scoring. It is proving a step up this year and 2 losses on the trot, we are not too far off the pace but will need to sharpen up.

Palace U23s were on the back foot in the first half and conceded a soft goal with the last kick.

In the second half we looked better but didn't really look like scoring.

It is proving a step up this year and 2 losses on the trot, we are not too far off the pace but will need to sharpen up.

Also, we fielded a strong U23 team with Rak-Sakyi, Omilabu, Street, Kirby, O'Brien, Hannam, Rich-Baghuelou etc. They are finding it tough at this level and although they aren't out of their depth, in this league, the PL remains quite a fee notches higher.

But that was to be expected given the clubs in this league.
