Any idea what the timeframe is for return for our injured defenders. Two weeks from the start of the season and we’re missing our whole back line. What are the progress updates for Ferguson, Tomkins, Sakho, Cahill and PVA?

He played well today. I know it was only Millwall but still good to see a solid defensive performance from him

It's looking more and more likely that the defensive line-up we saw start today will be the one that plays against Soton. Ings and Co. may just be wetting their lips.

I don't see how Kouyate is playing ahead of Kelly.

I think Dann and Kelly is a good partnership.

I don't disagree. However, I do wonder if Dann has the legs for 90 minutes on a regular basis. Also I wonder if RH wanted to see more of Kouyate in the CB position during pre-season so as to decide the pecking order of the fit CB options.

These are important questions. Anyone know what's happening - especially to our talisman, Gary Cahill?

Same, Kelly has been brilliant over the last couple of seasons when he has featured
