Martin Kelly Extends Contract

I haven't seen a thread on this so I thought I would start it. Congratulations to Martin who has signed a new contract until 2021. This season whenever he has played I though he looked really solid and I have no worries if are first choice centre half is out.

Agree with comments, very good to see a player improve so much...playing in the right position for him. Great attitude evident in play and interviews, glad we are holding on to him.

Excellent news to see this. Martin is a very reliable and solid defender great back up when required and glad he is happy at Palace when he could get regular football elsewhere.

I am very happy that Martin is staying...first rate player..always gives his best..and I shall never forget that great goal he put in the back of the net a few seasons ago for us...

Great news, has been excellent when called upon, comes across as a top bloke and gives 100 pct and gives us depth at centre back along with Scotty.

Can only echo everyone else. Great news. When he's played this season, if you weren't familiar with the team you wouldn't know by his level of performances that he wasn't a first choice player. Really feel he's come on some this season. I know when he first arrived he would sometimes play fullback. Don't rate him as much as a fullback but he's a more than compitant centre half (who even has an England cap!). Well done Martin.
