Was his last-minute withdrawal on Sunday just down to a temporary niggle or is there something to be concerned about? Has anyone said anything further about this?

Tomkins has no return date listed in the PhysioRoom site, but Wickham is down as 1st September return, doubtless to be back on the treatment table by 4th September.

We need him back ASAP, however I suspect they will not risk rushing him back. Given there is an international break after Southampton I suspect he will be given a good couple of weeks to recover fully.

It's a calf stain and they said there'll be a scan on it in the early part of the week.
