The manager obviously sees something in Joel Ward that we do not see.

we did not see the results of the training this week.

Fingers crossed that Ward has regained some MORE match fitness since last time.

He wasn't 100% fit last week and probably shouldn't have played, but if he's fully fit and playing next ti Tomkins and Sakho quite capable of being sound.

I think the Ward playing issue is down to His defensive attributes as Benteke is only on the bench. We don’t have a forward in our 11 that isn’t good enough to defend set plays and Ward is better at that than Wan-Bissaka?
