Personally I'd play Schlupp ahead of Lokilo and Luka in midfield where he belongs ahead of Punch, but it won't happen.

The telling point will be Puncheon's performances in first batch of games. He lives and bleeds Palace and I hope that he will be fuelled (understandably) by the doubters and prove wrong. For any Palace player: you are as great as your last match performance.

For any Palace player: you are as great as your last match performance. Not really. Everyone has bad games, but he's had too many. J know he bleeds palace and has been a great player and at times a hero for us. But he's just not good enough any more.

If he's so bad why are a succession of managers picking him?
