According to sky sources:- Zaha agent in talks with the club about a new deal. Let's hope he get the deal he deserves because he's been superb this season.

Absolutely. I want to still be watching him in a Palace shirt next season making idiots out of the opposition, drawing stupid fouls, causing mayhem, creating assists and scoring goals. Steve Parish bring it on!

Desperate for him to stay and terrorise Brighton next season

Yes please. It's all about striking a balance between Sam and Parish. Hopefully Parish is on board with improving every where we need all at once and aiming for top 10. However, if Parish wants a slower progression and only wants to spend a bit of money, I think Sakho and Wilf signing would guarantee us safety next season (though not much else).

Lee be careful what you wish for.

Let's hope there is not buyout clause included, his value will keep increasing year on year so it'd be horrible to lose him for just £40m or something.

Parish (or perhaps Sam) said he was very keen for Wilf to stay and would sit down with his reps to discuss a new deal as soon as we were safe, so the management are absolutely true to their word (which is nice!).

I'd not be adverse to him getting a clause in his contract that made him available for a sensible price if we fail to reach a certain league position. That should entice him a bit, we ought to be convincing him we're moving onward and upward but give him assurances that his career wouldn't be hindered if we went stale or had another relegation battle. Although I realise I am pre-empting concerns he might not actually have....
