Reports saying we have taken Samba on a trial, which will turn into a short term deal. Use to be good at Blackburn, 32 now, is he really worth it? Thoughts?

If he's only taking a squad position from the likes of Appiah or Mutch and will be on a cheap contract, then I guess it's better than nothing. Though James Collins would be a much better signing at this point in time considering how Samba's barely played for 2 years.

Players who go on tour around Europe, released by clubs in Greece, Russia etc are generally ones to avoid. But as long as this doesn't stop us from signing anyone else then I guess there's not much to lose.
