It's a good point. Despite our feelings, we need to back the team. A negative atmosphere isn't going to help them at the moment, they look shot as it is.

Of course Cabaye's going to be suspended having picked up his 5th booking today, and no Wickham, so Campbell will be the backup striker(!). Perhaps time for Appiah to be looked at - I think he's been back in training for a few weeks now. Will probably need a couple of U23 games - although Pardew doesn't seem to play 1st team players there, even when they need to boost their fitness (like Flamini).
