Welsh whiners claiming unprovoked attack

Crystal Palace fans were in Cardiff City centre last night and were going around pubs looking for Cardiff fans. Eventually they got into Cardiff fans in Mill Lane, there was a large group of Palace fans intent on having an off with Cardiff fans. This Cardiff fan was hospitalised early hours this morning and had an operation to have his jaw realigned this morning. 4 Palace fans have been arrested for another cowardly attack. ------------------------------------------------------ If its true then I hope the 4 guys go down but can easily imagine some pissed up Welsh boyo bit off more than he could chew and is now claiming he got jumped in an unprovoked attack. There was several times when I went to visit the ex fiance's family in Cardiff (and Newport) that groups of blokes tried to threaten me.

Have to admit some Cardiff fans can be very aggressive, even these days. I was drinking in a bar in Cardiff, when I first moved to Wales, and 4 blokes (strangely enough) jumped me. I was told after that it was a group of Cardiff fans who were looking to have a go at anyone!!! Edited by johnno42000 (05 Apr 2014 7.16pm)

Not condoning the violence in any way, but Cardiff can hardly complain, they had the highest number of banning orders of any football league club last season so they're not exactly angels themselves.

Cardiff fans have a bit of a reputation for unsociable behaviour. Maybe not the sort of people you'd want to meet in a bar or on the streets going to a match. However, who are we to sit in judgement if thugs wearing our colours have attacked and injured this guy? It has nothing to do with football.

Absolutely no proof or evidence whatsoever. In that forum link they refer to us as having attacked WBA fans but that's news to me. All b*llocks. I wouldn't trust a Cardiff fan as far as I could throw 'em. Absolute scum. And definitely the lot I'd most associate with attacking random fans.

Looking at the taffs knuckles looks more like it was a punch up instead of a random attack and rather then accepting they took a hiding they will claim to be victims.
