Not really a surprise, Liverpool are very good going forward. Only surprise is we are still in the game. Mandanda did make a great save, not really to blame for the goals.

Two lapses have cost us dear.. no excuse for Dann and Tomkins to react the way they did. We have a life line but second half needs to change. This was once a quality forum....

We will struggle every week until that defence is sorted. The more I see Tomkins the more I realise how defensively weak he is.Very good ball player but his marking is a joke and he's jumped out the way of shots on more than one occasion.Ward gets up the wings well and can play a pass here and there but again defensively he's below average and Kelly is a average defender But hardly a good footballer.Until we get three quality defenders in I can see us conceding lots of goals.Feel sorry for Mandanda having to play behind that defence if I'm honest.
