Was that in one of his post-match interviews? I missed that. Assumed he'd be first out the door this summer but amazing if we could keep him. Having Guehi / Anderson / Riad / Richards as CB options would be terrific. It was. I forget which game but it was very close to the end of the season. He said words to the effect of 'cant wait for next season now' and 'we have to be aiming for top 8 minimum next year' Doesn't sound like the same Andersen in January who was weighing his options

Madueke is undoubtedly talented but I do wonder if he'd be a disruptive influence (as we know that's why he left Palace's youth team in the first place). he's a total sh1thouse. Wouldn't want him at Palace.

Madeuke is the opposite of Guehi. Guehi's press conference today just shows his maturity and leadership skills. Garnering praise from the pundits.

I'd genuinely give him a four/five year deal. His injury record is exceptional, missing two games in the last 5 seasons. Also his game is based on positioning, heading, aggressive tackling and his excellent long passing, not pace. So he still should be a very good player then, even if he slightly slows down. An ideal mentor / leader for younger defenders in our squad. Absolutely love him. he's already quite slow so would be worried if he slowed down anymore!
