I don't think we should be looking to improve our squad in this window. Improvement should be left to the summer. Instead we should be looking to bolstering the squad with decent cover without breaking the bank..

We got promoted before the club was structurally ready. Parish struggled to build the structure we need while simultaneously running a top flight club. It may seem easy to do both to outsiders but I bet it's not. People slag off his player recruitment but Hodgson has shown many squad players may be better than previously credited. However, Parish needs to learn from not having a back up striker in particular. And a proper left back under Pardew. Those were squarely on him and his listening to 'advice' to let those situations arise wouldn't alter that fact.
