Nor would I be bothered about his indiscretion: he will have learned that lesson. I was more concerned about fit, we don't want to be another Sunderland. But with Pardew it won't be Sunderland we turn into, it'll be Clowntown. Allardyce would probably keep us in the league. Pardew is nailed-on relegation. Edited by chateauferret (26 Nov 2016 9.04pm) What do you mean, he doesn't fit with the club culture? If it's that I think we'll be just fine, the range of characters we've had over the years. He'd be no worse than Colin I'd say, in that regard. Quote Brian Blessed. If we're going to go down entertaining then let's up the ante. He could manage from the lower holmesdale and still be heard. I'd take Blessed in goal.

| There is no risk-free choice. 1) Pellegrini I think 1, 2 and 4 keep us up safely in my opinion tho. 3 could be a world class manager one day or a flash in the pan. So he'd be the risk option. (My guess is we could get Pellegrini back from China).

| Chris Hughton for me. Although wresting him away from the Seaweed would be difficult given that he's probably of the view that staying where he is means he's got more chance of playing Premiership football next season. Still, if we offer him silly money or blackmail him then there's always a chance.

| It's not a list that fills me with much confidence. We won't get Klinsman or Dyche. Redknapp is past it. The only other person I'd want in the top ten is hughton - that's only because it will mess up Brighton. Originally posted by Hampsterite
