This post has been merged from a topic called 'Corners' by bexleydave Set pieces including corners gives rise to 40% of the goals in football. In todays game Wolves had an amazing chance from a corner. This is more than we have had in dozens and dozens of games. 9 out of 10 deliveries goes straight into the first defender or straight into the hands of the goalkeeper. The 10th is just useless. A manager that can't see it or can't change it should go and do something else.

Slightly shading it though they usually improve in the 2nd. Wickham hopefully by at least 60 mins for Ayew. COYP !!

No, but Wolves should have scored with that corner! Logically, one corner should give them a goal, whereas 10 or 20 corners wouldn' t give us as much as an attempt, let alone a goal
