Yes was always going to be the case despite Roy saying how important he is. Note he’d rather not play him when the only striker fit.

Now you tell us after a newspaper article and there’s the small matter of his £130k per week and 3 goals in a year, 1 being a penalty isn’t it, making it difficult to sell.

Can't see us making anything other than a huge loss on him. We would be lucky to get 10-15 mil, half of what we paid for him.

'Hand on heart' I never saw any newspaper article to this affect.

Yes I appreciate it might be difficult to sell him to a European club but I suspect that the club would not be averse to offers !
Maybe he will attract interest from China.

We may as well keep him. Most strikers go hot and cold. Surely he is long overdue a hot streak.

There's web whispers about a possible interest from Besiktas, which sounds plausible. If we're going to sell him we need to do it early doors to give us the best chance of securing a suitable replacement.

It's worth pointing out that the stories regarding a move to Besiktas are in Turkish, and I'm not sure how much we can rely on google translate, for instance...

I do not know which chair they sat on and who they sat with. Now Benteke has a brother. England is playing in the 3rd League. I do not know he was sitting there. There is no such thing as Shuan Benteke.
