I love the magic number thread, every year by the time it is explained and understood we are pretty much safe, although not by magic number reckoning.

Agreed I enjoy the magic number but I look forward to a season when it is not required. I would prefer to have a target like the Arse did against the Spuds the day when your rivals (for that season) cannot overtake you.
