On yesterday’s showing Sorloth, not sure if Tekkers can be arsed at the moment....

With Benteke finally taken off it should rattle his cage, put an extra spring in Wickham's step who is training again, and Sorloth looks like he will relish the responsibility. Is that the last we see of Benteke? Sell him to Villa in the summer for £10million hopefully, and bye. My biggest hope lies in the fact that West Brom, Stoke and Southampton are worse than us, at the moment. They're all awful.

Start with Sorloth and rotate the two depending on how they are performing. Wilf is the talisman.

Not a lot to choose between the two. Early days but first thoughts on Sørloth are he looks raw and powerful with a good left foot but poor in the air and overall net yet quite good enough to be the main focus of our forward line. Benteke’s hold up play has been very sloppy at times and he’s missed too many chances but will give Wilf someone better to feed off. First half yesterday they were both very poor IMO and either could have been hooked at half time.

At his best Benteke is a much better player than Sorloth. Despite his poor record in terms of goals this season, Benteke has been involved in 7 out of 10 of our goals in 2018. I would start with Sorloth next Saturday with Benteke on the bench, however. He is raw but young and hungry and hit the post and scored a goal that should have stood yesterday. We can always bring Benteke on if necessary.

AS for now I go for Sorloth or Wickham if he can manage to get ready, otherwise Benteke ,But Benteke needs to know that he can be put on the bench.Dont think he liked that yesterday.

Sorloth was w*** today. Surprised so many here singing his praises. Should have had two, lost every aerial battle, jogged about, poor first touch. I feel as though it should have been him off at HT, rather than Benteke, and that sentiment was definitely echoed by others that were there. Quite surprised posters here think it was the other way round! Edited by SeagullHunter (10 Mar 2018 8.36pm) Did you even WATCH the game? He hit the post, scroed a legitimate goal and made the the goal we did score!? Jeez, there is so much negativity on this board.. this lad is a breath of fresh air.
