I was at the game and still have the A4 paper notice we were all given as we entered the ground. Charlton's 'final' game at The Valley was 2 weeks later against Stoke. That’s right, I remember now, I think I went to the league cup game but not the league game. It was no surprise really, it was really neglected and even by 70’s and 80’s standards it had turned into a real dump

Thanks for these. Some highlights of games I have never come across before. I've watched 69/70 and 70/71 so far and have yet to see a game that Palace actually won!!

A kind Palace fan has lent me some of his video collection of old 80’s games I never had, or thought I’d ever see again actually, so will be uploading more stuff as I go along. Here’s the Enfield and Orient FA Cup goals and highlights from 1982.

Nice one bubbs, I was at Enfield and Orient, great memories because we certainly needed that cup run with our league form being so bad and our best players gradually leaving
