Wilf has more goals and assists this season. Barkley isn't a guaranteed started at Everton, let alone their best player. Has been more consistent, even carried the team this season, that can't be said for Barkley. If they can't get that, then they're stupid.

Why do so many Palace fans get their knickers in a twist about what other fans think of Zaha. Does it really matter. Of course it doesn't. The opinion that matters at our club is that the chairman and the manager see him as a vital part of our future. Wilf is loved by our fans and that the way he likes it. Coyp

The Guardian report today Wilf wanting to stay at CPFC for another five years (on £110pw). He wants to be where he is wanted and will play rather than be buggered about as he was at Manure. Good news!

Other than a decent Prem sized pay packet, what Wilf needs more than anything is proper protection from the officials. Wilf is the most fouled player in the Prem this season and still officials seem to think he dives more often than not.

I really didn't see this happening. I had hope (that blind Palace fan hope) but was convinced he'd be gone. If he signs it will be huge, a massive statement which will help with other signings. Would just need to land Sakho and then anything else is a bonus as far as I am concerned!
