Things to be positive about, points against Man U and Chelski and away matches at Watford (Boxing Day)and Arsenal (New Years Day) or am I dreaming of a white christmas...hope not.
If we can sort the defence out we will be fine,the first 8 games conceded 9 goals no reason that cant happen again,what has happened in the last 5 matches is strange to sat the least.
Delaney into the back 4 would be a positive for me also.

At least we support a team still majority owned by CPFC fans.

We are not a big/plastic team, but one whose fans really love this club. We deserve better, but we also need to help the team. Tough ask, when the manager is the weakest link right now!

Imagine how sh1t defensively we would have been last week if we hadn't trained all the previous week and concentrated solely on that aspect?

We would have shipped 10 goals instead of 5!

That's why this situation is so strange regarding the Pardew debate.

It's very different to the end of last season, where we were just poor and looked clueless in most games.

For most games this season we've had spells of looking good, but in the last two months insist on shooting ourselves in the foot, normally at set pieces.

Remove set pieces and we draw with Liverpool and City, beat Swansea and Burnley and we're looking very pleased with ourselves.

When Warnock went it was after a series of abject performances. The annoying thing with this scenario is there is actually a lot that is good with this team, we just don't seem to know how to do very simple things.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.
