4th favourites to go down. That’s fine but the lack of any sort of news is poor. I’ve been a fan since about 1973 when I was 6 and my Dad took me. He was a fan and my grandad was a fan before we played at Selhurst Park.
With my grandson my family are now into the 5th generation of fans and I have to say that, notwithstanding the Goldberg stuff, Lombardo and Brolin managing us, the administrations etc - this is the most annoyed I’ve felt. It’s absolute s***e.
You don’t start pre-season with a load of players out of contract and no manager and expect to stay up.
WTF is going on? At least when we marched on the bank there was something we could do (even if, at the time, we felt it futile). This is a f***ing joke. And it’s not bed wetting - it’s annoyance at the lack of an official calming voice or announcement.

The total silence is thoroughly disrespectful to the fans.

Unless you're in the environment yourself (which you're not) you have no idea whether it's divisive. I saw a list of some of the top players in the Euros, including John Stones, who are all out of contract. It's normal in football. I doubt the players are wetting the bed about it like some fans are.

Townsend was saying on his Talksport slot that all the players have been spoken to by the club and know where things are.

John Stones probably isn't wetting the bed because he signed a 6 year contract 5 years ago. Having players you plan to (need to) retain actually run their contract down really isn't normal.

If you're Andros Townsend this time next Friday and Palace haven't got a manager and he isn't being paid and doesn't have a club to train with, and Brentford/Brighton/Southampton offer him a contract matching his terms, you sure he wouldn't be tempted?

Also, regarding the bet. He says that he put two £50 bets on other targets but his betting screenshot only showed 1 open bet.

To be fair I don’t blame Dazza. I reckon he’s just feeding back what he gets told, which is fair enough.
However, if I was him, I’d name and shame the individual that keeps feeding him this bollox! (Because, on the face of it, that’s what most of it appears to have been).

You seem to be forgetting that Parisg
H saved the club and is thus all seeing and all knowing.

He has allowed this to happen as part of a masterplan.

We are breaking new ground here and clearly focusing now on a team not an over bloated squad. Just have the 11 and the subs and make sure they are in their prime and immune to injury.

Add that to the fact this lot are so slick they don't need a manager. They rely on pure instinct and we have the blueprint for the future.

I am sure things happening behind the scenes and with Brian Kidd leaving citeh today I guess it will be him joining Viera.

On the face of it - an absolute joke to be honest.
The media say what they want as do we but we have players out of contract, no Manager and training starts next week.
They could amaze us all and sort it all out over the weekend and get started but something seems wrong to me otherwise it should be sorted.
Maybe PV wanted Kidd before he signed - who knows.
Right now it needs sorting quickly otherwise down we go.
