The flaw in your post is, if their not any good, clubs aren’t going to sign them on their current wages. If we did manage to off load them, we then need to sign players, who will demand wage parity or higher.
When Cabaye and Sakos contracts finished, they both wanted higher wages to sign, which didn’t work and they left.
Players who are any good, will cost and demand higher wages than those you propose to sell.
Player dealing is far from easy in today’s crazy market.
