Some really bad ones have been mentioned. The problem, however, is that the ones we have a the moment - Benteke, Sørloth, Ayew - are the absolutely worst in the Premier League. Zaha will score some wonder goals, but noone else will, and he cannot keep us up alone.

Ayew has 12 in 46 for Ghana. So I don't think international performance is a good enough reason to start Sorloth over Ayew. I think Ayew looks ok, I believe he'll.come good for us. Sorloth, not so much. But here's hoping.

IIRC Adebayor came with a reputation as being a poisonous cvnt and posted videos of himself dragging tyres around to prove his "fitness". Fitted in well with Pardew's club ethos.
