A couple of other Norwegian words with that funny "ø": Øy (island), øye (eye), øre (ear), møkk (s***), ørken (desert) & øl (beer). Just in case you should pop into SØrloth and have a chat with him....

I løve the fact we’ve managed to get 3 pages out of this. No wonder we’re known as stripey Nigels. Incidentally on an iPhone just hold down the o and it gives you several variants to choose from.
