We've had some very good, rugged centre backs down the years. And Jim Cannon could play a bit too. But in my opinion, the best at both defending and on the ball were Steve Wicks and Craig Moore. Both also introduced some calm into often stressed back 4's ! I would say Sakho is even better than them though.

Sakho must be the best value £2m + wages that Parish has ever spent. Effectively got us another £100m of TV money for next year. I always liked Micky Droy. He wasn't the best but I liked his no nonsense approach.
