whilst Keith Millen has been a great servant to the club and I thank him for his efforts I think he does need to take some share of the blame that was directed towards AP. Was he not the defensive coach - if so the joke of goals we have conceded from set pieces should have embarrassed a sunday league manager. Man City was perhaps the worst, Swansea away was just bizarre and even recent goals by Man U and Swansea at home were really poor. What do they do in training? Maybe a change was required. Notice Kevin Keen is still part of the staff - not quite sure what he does.

The classic Big Sam/Little Sam combo! Makes sense.... Big Sam wants his own team assistants and tbh Millen/Woodman are just as culpable as Pardew most likely. Lets face it... our fitness, tactics and disciplinary records weren't great under Pardew and his team. Time to move onwards and upwards!

Scott Guyett is still there, did good things under Freedman and Pulis. Pardew must have prioritised other things over fitness because it certainly was a problem under him. I for one am pleased about this... You don't coach for England, Liverpool and Southampton up until last season unless your half decent.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
