When ever I have an opinion I'm told The Boss knows best. Well he prefers big men and all I prefer is somebody who can show a twinkle of creativity now and again and can shoot. I must have missed the incident of creation that the big men put together but now we are desperate for someone to pull something out of the hat for us. Lets give Bannan a go and see if we can get Johnny back for Saturday. Also give Guediora a half up front. FFS lets do something different!.
So get someone back with 0 league goals in his career?
Yes mate we need goals but you have to have somebody who might create the chances to score them.

Was worried when he went on loan and thought we lack any creativity.
Most palace fans know how good he is but Pulis hansnt given him a chance. Ince is being given the same treatment

While i rate joniesta, him going on loan doesnt affect us in the slightest. While he is a pretty amazing dribbler with a good bit of pace about him, he needs improvement on his passing, definitely needs huge improvement on shooting and crossing. Bannan is the carbon copy of Joniesta but better im afraid.
Ithink u will find that the whole bloody team needs to improve their passing and shooting !! At least when williams got the ball he took players on and went in the right direction for goal .

Jonny would make no difference as he would of been deployed as a holding midfielder in our ultra defensive set up. Really don't see him coming back for long until he is sold to a Championship team next season. I know he's just signed a four and a half year deal, but we all know relevant they are in this day and age.
On another note, it's sad to see so many dissing him on this thread. Some maybe doing it to get back at maxi, but it's not nice to see.
So Pulis signed him on a long term deal, stating he has a massive future at the club, to sell him? Makes sense.

When did football make sense? Billy Davies signed a big extension in Oct last year. Rene Meulenstein was given about 9 games, quite sure he wasn't given a 9 game contract. Tom Ince was signed at great expense on loan to give us a goal threat, then was played so deep he could actually hear Jules sweating. Anything a manager says should be taken with a pinch of salt, because circumstances change all the time. Finally, it's just my opinion, doesn't mean I'm right.

I honestly think some people want Pulis to f*** this club up just to say I told you so, they are getting increasingly frustrated because there are no signs of him f***ing us up and if anything taking us forward. People made their minds up about Pulis, we play well the whole time under him then we have a tough run against better sides with our best player out injured and they return with the "I told you this is what it will be like the whole time" Some people need to get a grip, I wish we were anywhere near as good as Stoke were under him. Interesting Stat as well as having 0ne of the best defensive records they scored more goals then anyone in the bottom half each season, if this is the negative tripe Pulis turns us into then I am looking forward to it.

Manager changes aren't at all relevant here.
I'm glad you agree.

So we aren't playing an ultra defensive style in your opinion then? If he only does it against better sides than us, then why will he change, seeing as at the moment, judging by the tactics it seems they are all better than us. I don't want TP to fail, I have never said that, but I also know what we are going to get with him in charge. If you are happy with that kind of football, then fine, that's up to you. All I've ever said is that I do not enjoy watching the sort of football TP produces. I couldn't stand watching Stoke play that way, so why would I enjoy my team doing it? Still "Swing Low" will be a welcome addition to the repetoire...............

You couldn't stand watching Stoke embarrass big sides at the Brittania and did not think "If only we could do that". Give over please.
