Anyone want to carry on blaming bad luck? Schoolboy defending for 6 months+ - if that's not at least partially down to the managing and coaching, I don't know what is. Do the honourable thing Pardew, and if he doesn't Parish, do it for him!

I expect Pardew will say it was a 'disappointing' result but we had 'good spells' in the game. This is, after all, a team in 'transition'. You should have gone months ago Pardew.

I'll bet that Southampton can't wait to play Palace now. Expect Mike Phelan to be in stands if they are not playing at same time. Season for Palace NOW most definitely on knife-edge.

The big positive from this match is that it comprehensively shows the board beyond any shadow of any doubt Pardew's utter inability to do the required task.
