I totally agree. Among managers from the continent, along Nuno, Favre and Fonseca, maybe this one is under consideration; Isn’t Cooper now being mentioned as a possible for the Fulham job? It’s all getting a bit tedious. So much speculation. Hurry up Mr Parish, we need an actual person to discuss (hopefully in a positive way).
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I'm disappointed that you didn't carry on with your alliterations to the end. Perhaps "beautified by the Bard"? Far better.

He might not be a bad shout if we are going to risk signing an inexperienced manager. His name has come up before, so not totally out the blue like Favre.

Bring out the Yanks to convince him? Maybe this is pointing to some reassurance required around transfer kitty? Who knows!

I noticed while trying to interpret the betting changes that William Hill's were always the most negative about Favre - always bigger odds, and if memory serves me they were likewise sceptical and generous about Nuno, well now Hills are the shortest price on Favre to take the job, 2-1 favourite only, there's something in this, where it goes don't ask me but it aint b*ll*x, the smoke signals say they're talking again.
