The only way I could (barely) accept this is if they agreed to dilute the money in 2 seasons (example instead of 6M in one season I give you 4M for 2 seasons), so that the lower wage makes moving him on easier. That would work out at 2M per goal

This decision is no doubt because the yanks want out and until they have sold then this is the shyte we’re dealing with. If Benteke doesn’t attract any interest at Parish’s price and wages, which I’m not expecting, we’re in the sh1t. I expect this’ll be a very very bad day we’ll be looking back on when we’re going through a bad run next season.
