Brilliant to have in the squad, over 100 appearances - not that you'd notice it. A very capable CB in the league, could easily leave and join another team in the bottom half and probably start for them.

Am I wrong to feel a little bit sorry for him; a good and popular footballer who hardly plays any football? I suppose there are hundreds in the same boat, and no doubt he's on a good 'poke' for such disappointment.

Unfortunately AP destroyed Kelly's confidence persistently playing him as a left back, and he got run ragged game in, game out. Think it took a while for his confidence to recover.
