The right place at the right time

Not that last year was ideal preparation for anything as it turned out, but on those weekends we played a PL team in HK and then a Ligue 1 team in France, who both got relegated funnily enough.

Away games to a bottom half League 1 and a bottom half Championship team seem strange choices.
