The way he went down was completely inconsistent with the contact. Hopefully, that will give them grounds for a suspension. Nothing will happen with the result. Whilst I feel totally robbed again, Dann should have done better with the second and Benteke should have buried his chance.

Felt a brush on his shoulder so he went down, "it's a natural reaction". Not if you're not a f***ing cheat, it isn't. Disgusting scum. Hope he gets a healthy ban and no way do I want a cheat like that at Palace.

What Hodgson said : “I spoke to the referee about it and I’m pretty sure if I had been in his position on the field I might have given that decision too. “So I don’t blame him, but its not until you see the video and slow it down that you see what happens.” So what Hodgson is saying that from Taylor's perspective it looked like a penalty but 'Slow-Mo' replays have suggested otherwise. In terms of the actual contact, one sees greater contact at corners with players pushing and jostling each other.And outside the area, how many times do players "Buy" fouls by going down after just minimal contact ? Hodgson is obliged to peddle the fiction that referees are fair and competent because if he says anything else the bullies will fine him. At the time he was as clear as everyone else that this was a dive. The incident is being reviewed by the simulation panel. Certainly it was obvious to me that he dived on one viewing at full speed, as I believe others here have also pointed out.

I don't blame referees' or feel they are cheats. The cheats are players from all clubs and this will not stop until we have video referee's. Saw the England Australia rugby and their manager had a face of thunder at the end because the decisions had gone against them. However they were the right decisions so he couldn't say anything. As Churchill said "give us the tools and we will finish the job" I am sure must referee's feel the same way.
