More than 26,000 by all accounts. The assistant manager/coach has to show the players pictures for guidance in this day and age judging by the goings-on before a substitution is made now. Us 26,000 can only shout at them. Neither method seems to be working recently.

I just hope it's someone with a smile who can get the players playing as well as they are able. I think the players may have been intimidated by FDB, think we need someone who will appreciate what they can do and not criticise them for what they cant. Gary Neville may not be that man as he is only used to working with 'top players'. We're stuck with Joel Ward, Wayne Hennessey etc. at least for this year.I think they will play better if they are not frightened of making mistakes.
