How much do you all trust transfers? How do totally unsuitable players end up at clubs? Here is a scenario I imagine has happened in this country. Manager of football team A tells another club he can get his owner to pay over-the-odds for one of their players once he gives his personal recommendation. They are naturally delighted and receive £3m for a player they only dreamed of getting £2m max for. Manager of team A then gets a £500,000 'thank-you'and selling club get £2.5m for a load of old rubbish.
