1 fit striker in that list. Arghhhh. Can't believe one of Anderson or lapado wasn't given a squad number. Hope we can get a striker in before Huddersfield

12 months ago I'm pretty sure most of us would have been delighted to see a squad of 25 as strong as this. Apart from a third goalkeeper and a back-up striker it looks pretty good to me.

Gerrard wore 4. Numbers mean nought really. Gerrard sometimes wore 4 for England, but 8 for Liverpool. Defensive midfielders often wear 4, or at least used to, so I'm happy for Milivojevic to get it. I would've liked Benteke to have been given the number 9 shirt this season, but if it means another striker is coming in then that's fine too.
