I reckon it's a similar formation to our usual 4-2-3-1 with Remy in an advanced number 10 role. The last thing you need to do when you're struggling is change to a back 3, stick with 4 and get the basics right. We will see...

I can't see us going to a back 3 so abruptly. It's either 442 or Remy is an advanced 10. Maybe Sam is relying on the fact that Schlupp can be both left back and left winger to cover up our weakness at left back? Schlupp doesn't look to be playing LB to me.
