interesting that he posted on twitter that he will miss Pardew and thanked him for helping him. I do wonder if he will cease to thrive under a manager who does not like attacking football, but results are the most important thing. Watford is still a must win, sad to have this much pressure on his first game but that is football.

Who has ever said SA don't like attacking football? He is a pragmatic coach, playing to the strength of his current players. Our strength is obviously the offensive part of footie. If he can improve the other end to some degree - job done and we'll sail into security.

I think he'll love it under a new boss.He'll now probably get a bit of support from the midfield instead of being expected to take on half a team on his own.

I don't profess to know what's going on in the dressing room but any player who is creating like Wilf while watching our defence throw games away would have been a flight risk in January. Aladyce's appointment should see us through without loosing him (yet) imho.
