Pardew employs a hypnotist to convince our boys that it's half-time at 3pm and we're 1-0 down. Team end up winning 2-0 at full time. In reality though.... I expect a Sigurdsson free kick, cheaply given away, to be the difference.... Doh! Pardew's post match interview to be usual guff.

2-0 Palace I think for our first clean sheet. Swansea are very poor and offensively have nothing. Yes we're weak at set pieces, but other than direct freekicks through Sigurdsson they actually don't have much threat. Defensively they are ok, but Benteke can definitely dominate their centre backs. I am feeling optimistic. Defensively they are ok, but Benteke can definitely dominate their centre backs.

I am feeling optimistic.

Sigurdsson could hardly be described as nothing.... particularly at the free kicks you mention.... and you can rely on us to give one away well within his range.

1-1 Swansea taking the lead in the first half. A couple of 'dynamic' substitutions at half time and Palace grab an equaliser then survive a last 10 minute onslaught. Pardew saying I've stopped the rot and we've turned a corner........offering himself up for the England job as a result. The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years
