Patrick Vieira has signed a 3 year contract (yes with Crystal Palace!) according to The Athletic. Not sure if you can read the article without a subscription but hey it’s only £1 a month!

I wish him the best in a difficult situation. I've looked at his past management efforts and they are better than advertised. He starts with a clean slate, here with lots of contracts up and what I imagine is reasonable backing from the board.

I wish him well. People are saying it's a risk, which it is, but that could be what's needed after years under Roy's management. If he succeeds it'll inevitably be deemed a masterstroke and if he fails a 'told you so'. Best to wait and see.

Excited to see what he can bring to Selhurst. Hopefully a much needed breath of fresh air to put some entertainment and pride back in the place. He's got a lot of work to do and I'm looking forward to hearing about how he wants to develop our football.
