Bizarre how people are trying to excuse Hodgsen and the players: This month - not in the 1950s, but this month - Wolverhampton scored 1 (one) goal agains Fulham, 1 (one) goal against Leeds and 1 (one) goal against Newcastle - hardly top teams!! And we are worse, much worse, our defence and tactics a joke.

The issue is we get more of the last 10 games of last season and once we get on a free roll of being hammered and not scoring we go even more defensive. If we lost a dozen games in a row without scoring that wouldn’t surprise me.
