0-0 HT Can see why Stoke are 2nd in the league & look like an old fashioned 'Pullis' team. Palace have had more of the chances, Mateta with a couple. Rak-Sakyi for me has been the outstanding player this half, Mitchell & Hamman have linked up well on left & are interchanging effortlessly. Rob Street is showing he's also a good central defender helping Dann out as Boetang & Kelly have gone walkabout a few times. Hope for better in 2nd half.

Honours even 0-0 at HT. Not great cohesion from Palace the U23s suffer from a lot of changing line-ups, and old-timers! Entertaining, Stoke are 2nd so we will have to produce something special from here.

FT 2-2 All things considering probably the right result. Mateta tho missed an absolute sitter with the 'keeper well out his goal. MOM? for me Hamman, closely followed by Mitchell, Taylor, Rak-Sakyi & Street. Match report in link. Highlights to follow, when i get them, unless someone gets them off YouTube 1st.

Tough on the goalie, that would have been ruled out by Mateta has that goal-scoring instinct, looked hungry all the game. Tbh I thought Palace would have been better off without their senior players, Dann and Kelly well off the pace. Roy watching too.

Got to start Mateta... he is the future.. Benteke and Batshayi not ... particularly Mischy who I guess will be going back to Chelsea.....
